‘Money will be refunded, if fails to perform Hajj’

tate Minister for Religious Affairs Advocate Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on Sunday ensured that those who will deposit money to perform holy Hajj, will be refunded if fails to go Saudi Arabia due to coronavirus.

The Minister disclosed the matter while addressing at a press briefing at Secretariat.

This year’s Hajj flights will begin on June 23 as the holy hajj will be held on July 30. For this, the registration formalities will have to be completed by March 15.

He urged the countrymen for starting registration not being panicked by coronavirus outbreak.

“We are regularly contacting with the Saudi government. They ensured us to provide all kinds of supports,” Md Abdullah added.
The Minister said some 725 people registered their names under government management while 848 under private management till this noon which is very much frustrated in number.
Hajj package for this year approved in the cabinet meeting on February 24. A total of three packages have been announced under the government management.
